Become a docent

Love telling stories? Lead visitors through the village on Sunday tours. No prior experience necessary — we'll train you on every building and every tale.

Tend the gardens

Help keep two acres of heritage grounds blooming, from the rose beds around the Ware-Stanley House to the citrus trees that recall Garden Grove's farming roots.

Support the Barn & Book Sale

Price, sort and store donated treasures for our biggest fundraiser of the year. Every sale keeps the museum free and thriving.

Seniors, retirees, and lifelong storytellers

Your memories are history. Help us pass them on. Share your knowledge of Orange County, Garden Grove, and the Stanley Ranch with visitors, help us preserve oral histories, or lend your time to the projects that keep local heritage alive.

Ready to lend a hand?

Just drop by on a Tuesday or Friday between 9 a.m. and noon — we'll find something you'll love doing. You can also support us through membership dues, which fund restoration alongside grants and our Barn & Book Sales.
